FISH
Chub to 6lb 9oz, Bream to 7lb, Tench to 8lb, Pike to 20lb, Roach to 2lb 9oz, Perch 3lb 2oz, skimmers, dace, bleak and gudgeon
TACTICS
Bream weights can exceed 100lb on the right day, try a groundbait feeder with worm and caster on the hook. Roach bags can easily top 50lb in the late summer try hemp and tare on the pole or waggler. Cheese fished against far bank cover in the winter will often tempt some of the chub population.
