Rose Park Fishery, Launceston
DESCRIPTION
Two lakes of 2.5 acres, in a wooded secluded valley. Clear water with depths up to 20 feet. There is a fishing hut and toilet facilities. Disabled anglers can get to most swims.
FISH
Rainbow, Brown, Triploid stocked weekly with fish averaging between 2 and 3lbs. Fishery records 13lb Rainbow, 9lb 5oz Brown, 3lb 7oz wild Brown.
FLY INFORMATION
Natural flies include Damsels, Midges, Alder, Mayfly, Dragonfly and Sedges. Recommend using Mayfly, Gnats, Buzzers, Damsels, Hawthorns, Nymphs and Caddis.
