Brayton pond

DESCRIPTION
Brayton Pond is one of the few waters left in the UK holding true wild carp and specimen crucian carp. Brayton Pond is a beautiful small estate lake situated near Aspatria in the northern Lake District. 8.2 acre spring fed lake with two islands. The fishing is managed by Barrie Ward and is strictly controlled. No day permits are available and anglers wanting access should contact Barrie Ward.
FISH
600lb per acre 0-20+lb, healthy crop of 2lb float fish, good specimens.
TACTICS
Barbless hooks, carp sacks approved, keep nets for matches only, 3 rods per permit.
TICKETS
Day tickets are available on brayton pond, £10 per day, £5 after 4o'clock until dark, £20 for 24 hours
