A single 280 acre natural lake, set in a glacial valley with a backdrop of Cumbrian mountains. Surrounded by woodlands and farmland. Coloured deep water.
Boathouse converted with a ticket office and tackle shop.
FISH
Rainbow and Brown, stocked when necessary with fish averaging 1lb 12oz. Lake Records: 16lb 3oz Rainbow, 9lb 8oz Brown.
FLY INFORMATION
Natural flies include Buzzers, Alders, Corixa, Damsel Nymphs and Hawthorn. Recommend using Damsel Nymphs, Buzzers, hare’s Ear Nymphs and Daddies.
