Allestree Park Lake
Allestree, Duffield Road, Derby (next to A6), Derbyshire
DESCRIPTION
A decent sized lake of about 7 acres. Set in a wonderful country park and situated next to an 18 hole golf course.
FISH
Lots of carp ranging from 5 to high 20's. Many jack pike of around 6 - 7 lb. Could contain large pike up to 30 lb. Large bream and tench can be had when they are located.
TACTICS
Boilies do well (as usual) for the carp. Maggots and pinkies for the silver fish. Bread and worms can catch good bags of bream with the occasional tench thrown in.
