DESCRIPTION
Pallington Lakes comprises of three spring-fed coarse lakes surrounded by beautiful, peaceful countryside and situated alongside the River Frome. All three lakes are heavily stocked with a variety of specimen coarse fish (carp, tench and silver fish) and the current carp record is 39lb 4oz Common. All three lakes benefit from lush grassy banks, deep margins, overhanging trees and an abundance of underwater features. There is an on-site tackle shop stocking most of the leading brands, flush toilets, quad service, friendly advice and ample parking. Members of our private fishing club can fish a maximum of three rods all year round, including night fishing, along with a host of other membership benefits. The two acre Stonze Pool, with carp to 30lb 12oz and abundance of other coarse fish, has opened up to day ticket anglers. There are only eight pegs available, and only four of these available for night fishing, so booking is advisable. There is no close season on the lakes. Record capture from our stretch to date is 3lb 14oz. Please contact us for more information.

TACTICS
The majority of carp fall to boilies and the method mix in the margins. If the sun is shining, no matter the time of year, don't forget your surface gear. The tench seem to love green lipped mussel. Again, float fish the margins. For silver fish, red maggots tend to have more success, but worm, luncheon meat and sweetcorn also have excellent results - and you'd still be in with a chance of landing a carp or tench!

Pallington Lakes Fishing Club - Private members only - £475 maximum 3-rods, unlimited* fishing on all three lakes, addidtional member benefits. Stonze Pool - Day Ticket Water, night fishing available on 4 pegs. £12 per day, £22 per 24hrs. Maximum 2 rods. Booking advisable due to limited number of pegs.

RULES
Manufactured barbless hooks only. No nut baits. No braided mainline. No dead baits. Landing nets, unhooking mats and weigh slings are provided free of charge for use at the fishery.
