DESCRIPTION
Lake over 1,000 acres, in grass and pasture moorland setting. Seven miles of bank for fly fishing, three miles for worm anglers. Reservoir, coloured water over twenty feet deep.
Lakeside Lodge. Tuition available in May and July.
FISH
Rainbow, Brown, stocked weekly with fish averaging 1.5lbs. Fishery records: 10lb 14oz Rainbow, 5lb 6oz Brown.
FLY INFORMATION
Natural flies include Damsel, Black Buzzer, Sedges, Hawthorn, Daddies and Lake Olives. Recommend using Dawson’s Olives, Vivas, Montanas, Kate McClaren and Pheasant Tail Nymph.
