Knitsley Mill Trout Fishery, Nr. Consett
DESCRIPTION
Three purpose-dug lakes of 7 acres, set in peaceful ancient woodlands. Springfed. Clear water with depths under ten feet.
New restaurant. This water is suitable for the disabled angler.
FISH
Rainbow, stocked weekly with fish from 1.5lbs to over 10lbs. Fishery record: 25lb Rainbow.
FLY INFORMATION
Natural flies include Damsel, Mayfly, Hawthron, Buzzer, Olive Spinner. Recommend using Dawson’s Olives, Cat’s Whisker, Buzzer, Hare’s Ear.
DAY TICKETS
£16 per day for 3 fish (8am – dusk), evening tickets May – September (2pm – dusk). Father and son tickets £13 for 2 fish.
