DESCRIPTION
Moorhen Trout Fishery is set in the beautiful and tranquil surroundings of the renowned Meon Valley in Hampshire. Within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty the fishery is situated in the picturesque village of Warnford on the A32 and within easy reach of Winchester, Portsmouth and Southampton.The 3 acre lake is fed by natural springs and is adjacent to the River Meon. Regularly re-stocked, the crystal clear water is full of lively and healthy rainbow trout ranging from 2lbs to doubles. With generous stock, strategically placed swims, mown lawns and views across open countryside Moorhen Trout Fishery is guaranteed to provide an excellent day fly fishing in a friendly and relaxed environment.Easily accessible car parking, a recently modernised lodge, toilet facilities and the opportunity to purchase light refreshments are available on site. Moorhen now has an on-site Greys shop selling a large range of quality products including rods, reels and clothing. There is also a large selection of quality flies and tackle available to purchase from the lodge and shop including Veniard fly tying materials.

1 Fish Ticket £17, 2 Fish Ticket £27, 3 Fish Ticket £37, 4 Fish Ticket £40, Junior 1 Fish Ticket (under 16) £10, Junior 2 Fish Ticket (under16) £18, 10 Fish Ticket £150, 20 Fish Ticket £250, If for some reason you do not catch your total number of fish on a Catch & Keep ticket you can return another day, pay £10.00 and fish again!.
