DESCRIPTION
Three medium sized ponds on a pleasant SW facing hillside. Well signposted from main Whitwell road with ample parking, toilets and disabled access. Part of a complex of holiday cottages with free fishing for tenants. Very good for children and 'rookie' anglers and a lovely setting for the wife to relax while hubby fishes.
FISH
Plenty of carp (Common & Mirror) to 10lbs with a few larger in top pond. Some roach and rudd also.Ponds are fairly shallow and well fished so anything unusual works well.
TACTICS
Good results on luncheon meat type baits and also floating bread in evenings.
