DESCRIPTION
Main lake, two large islands, abundance of swans and other wildlife that don't seem to affect your fishing. Small bridge, deep holes and bay next to the cafe. There are other lakes on site to suit any angler of all abilities and tastes.
FISH
Dove Lake, two island, ranging in depth with carp to 38lb and cats to 20lb+. Specimen Lake, a small island at the shallow end. Depths range for 3ft to 18ft with an average of 9ft. Commons to 51lb, mirrors to 54lb, Cats to 60lb. Cafe and Koi carp shop on site.
TACTICS
Flouro-carbon hook link with a strong size six hook. Heavy lead on a safety clip to produce a bolt rig effect. Fish a big trout pellet over a large bed of trout or other similar pellet. I also did well on assasin-8 and ace baits squid and garlic over pellets. The fish are fed by the fishery on trout pellets and these are available to buy on site. This is very affective. In the warmer months when people visit the cafe they throw food in for the fish to feed on the surface. I had one rod deep in this bay between the islands over pellets and one under the bridge over to the island. All rods were fished from the far bank. At night when the fish come around this island under the bridge and feed. This produced many fish through the night and the other rod during the day. Make sure you use pellets and a lot of them. The ticket may seem expensive but it is great fishing.
