Lakeside Fishery

DESCRIPTION
A 6 acre lake with plenty of over hanging trees, reed beds and water lillys. It has three islands, one large island in the middle and two smaller islands at either end of the lake. About 70% of the lake is surrounded by woodland so is very sheltered, the area is also a conservation area.
FISH
You get a good net of Roach (to 2lb), Bream (to 4lb), also Tench and Chub have been caught, a excellent head of common and mirror carp (to 10lb) as well as a good head of 20's and some rare 30's banked for the Specimen Hunter.
TACTICS
All fishing from dawn till dusk unless bailiff grants night fishing tickets. Float tactics for all fish are successful with trout pellets, maggots, casters and curry powder in the bait always proves irresistible! All Carp tactics are a winner especially fruit flavoured boilies, corn and meat. There is also excellent fishing from the surface with crust or dog biscuits with many of the larger fish banked using this method.
