DESCRIPTION
7 acre lake set in untouched countryside, just set at the side of the river Trent, plenty of reeds and weed less areas ideal for many specialist anglers, lots of wildlife and very scenic landscape.
FISH
Roach to 3lbs, Perch to 4lbs, Tench to 13lbs (was in top ten tench waters in the country), Bream to 12lbs many species of Carp to 34lb, Pike to 30lbs, Eels to 6lb.
TACTICS
As the water has a high natural food content, simple baits have great effect especially in small size. Many tench have been lured on sweetcorn and worm, larger carp take to boilies. Although the water is a test to many anglers it has great potential and would like to be considered as one of the natural ponds of the area.
