Beighton Pond

DESCRIPTION
It is a fairly small pond which has around 10 pegs situated between the reeds. next to the river rother and is a fair walk from Rother Valley. Fishing is also good in the river but access is very iffy as it has steep banks.

FISH
Contains roach to 1.5 lb, perch to 2 lb, tench to 3lb, carp to around 6 lb, chub up to 6 lb, also contains the odd bream.

TACTICS
Float fishing with maggots and worms is the best. Fish near reeds for perch and roach where as fishing in the middle will land much bigger carp and chub.
