DESCRIPTION
Set in a farm field, with a banking on one side providing shelter from wind. Away from main road but cars visisble, unsuitable for wheelchair users because of the walk up the field. 4 tyres as islands to fish to, and 2 lilly beds. Plenty of marginal reeds. Come off the M18 at junction 1, and take the A631 to Bawtry, turn in the industrial estate and follow the road. You will pass a Lorry Cafe, park in the second layby. Tickets must be bought prior to fishing. Contact John Perry or 'The Sheppy' public house (in Maltby at the end of housing estate on the B6427 to braithwell.

FISH
Carp to 15lb, mainly around 3-6lbs, tench from 6oz to approx 5lb, bream from 2oz-4lb, perch to 3lb, roach to 2lb. Rudd and crucian to about a pound. Plenty of Gudeon. Easy water for beginners.

TACTICS
Pole to tyres, using corn or small (4mm) cubes of meat, be careful using light elastic, carp to 15 have been encounted on maggots, use at least an 8. Fishing can be slow in changing weather. Float fished maggot works well for roach, perch, crucian, and rudd.
