DESCRIPTION
Huddersfield Narrow Canal, set in the old textile village of Milnsbridge, Huddersfield, good access & parking.
FISH
Plenty of coarse fish with lots of roach and perch, the four horse shoes holding carp to 10lb and tench to 6lb, also small head of chub. Wharf pond holding the same with a handful of trout and some large pike to double figures.
TACTICS
The club is promoting this as a winter venue as the amount of traffic passing through the waters since the re-opening of the canal has made it very difficult to fish, this season is aimed towards winter as the traffic will have died down and then next year after a re-stocking program the water should return to normal, check out the website for further info at http://hd1fishing.tripod.com/hd1/.
