Wintersett Reservoir

DESCRIPTION
Massive lake used for boating, wind sailing etc. you are able to drive to your chosen. Wading is advised as it is shallow close in and a huge cast is required, however no wading allowed during the closed season. Day tickets are to be purchased in advance from local tackle shops and night fishing is only allowed for full members and only then with a separate night permit. Fishing is controlled by Leeds Angling Club

FISH
All species grow big especially the roach, perch, carp and bream also some monster pike.

TACTICS
Open-ended feeder with groundbait and sweetcorn on hook for big roach, bream and occasional carp. Long distant casting required so use hefty tackle.
