Two lakes in open countryside on the Dryden Estate near the historic Canons Ashby House (NT). One of the premier match waters (up to 60 pegs) in Northamptonshire, and excellent for pleasure fishing too. This water is suitable for disabled anglers (but has rough surfaced paths).



First (Bottom) lake contains big carp up to 30lbs, Crucians up to 2lb, Perch up to 3lbs, Roach, Bream Tench and Barbel (up to 7lbs). Second (Top) lake contains the same species with carp up to 37lbs.



Bottom lake – fish in any of the corner pegs. Top lake fish the right hand side with maggot and groundbait feeder, or in the margins in summer with maggot, paste, pellet, and cat meat. Minimum 5 lb line recommended.



Day ticket: 7.50 Adult and Concessions 4.50. Annual membership - 47 Adult, 32 concession. All available from the bailiff at the water.

Separate keep nets for Carp and Silver fish. Only carp up to 5lbs in nets for pleasure anglers). No boilies, no method feeders, no bolt rigs, or floating baits. No night fishing allowed
