Greenfields Lake
Straght Drove, Sawtry, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire
DESCRIPTION
Medium sized fishing pond with a small island. The lake was originally dug out for the Blue clay. The top left of the lake is now a nature reserve and spawning area for our fish stock, so please do not fish this area.
FISH
Mirror carp 20 lbs common carp 25lbs, pike10lbs, tench 9lbs, perch 5lbs, rudd 4lbs, roach 2lbs
TACTICS
Float fishing using crystal floats and luncheon meat is the killer bait for tench and carp.

Day tickets available from Jeffery Mills Solicitors, who are located opposite to the parade in Green End Rd at a cost of £3.00 each per day

RULES
Barbless hooks only, no more than 2 rods, no night fishing, no heavy ground baiting (1kg per day), keep nets and landing nets must be dipped, all fish over 2lb must not be kept in nets, no live baiting
