DESCRIPTION
A mature fishery in the beautiful Devon countryside, with fish of outstanding quality, coloration & size. There are three fishing lakes. Four Ponds is a real haven to escape from the stresses of modern life and enjoy the peace & tranquillity of this magical place. A warm welcome awaits you. The fishing lodge is a fully equipped, attractive & comfortable two bed roomed cottage. Central for the coast & moors, with its own drive for 2/3 cars. FISH
The Carp Specimen Lake at 3 acres was constructed in the summer of 2005. It has many hidden features including bars, plateau's, shelves & holes. With depths from 5ft to 9ft, also very wide banks for bivvy fishing. It is stocked with 85 beautiful Carp, from 15lb to 30lb with approx. 25 fish over 20lb. There are also 8 large Tench (doctor fish) to be had. - The Kingfisher Coarse Lake at 1.25 acres was constructed in 1970 and has depths from 4ft to 8ft and is heavily stocked with Carp & Ghosties to 14lb, Tench to 8lb, Roach, Perch & Crucians to 3lb. Also Bream to 9.5lb Rudd & Golden Rudd. - The family/carp lake" Stocked with 12,000 carp to 2lb. Great fun for the kids. Also constructed in 1970 and has depths from 3ft to 5ft, is a slightly smaller tree lined match/family style lake with 20 carp to 15lb
TACTICS
Try floating bread in the summer for carp or boilies, corn, meat all work well. For coarse fishing, float fish with maggot, worm, corn or bread flake to attract the perch, roach, crucians, rudd & tench.

RULES
When fishing for carp minimum 30" landing net & mat to be used, along with klin-ik or medi-carp. Photos in kneeling position only. barbless hooks only, ground-bait in moderation. No nut type baits. A valid Environment Agency rod licence is required to fish.
