Admirals Walk

DESCRIPTION
Admirals Walk is a 25 acre gravel pit with open bank side and natural, un-built swims. There are numerous underwater features including gravel bars, gullies and dense weed beds.
FISH
Main species are Pike between 10 - 29lb. The water also contains a good head of specimen Carp, Tench, Bream and Eels. Carp 33lb 4oz, Eel 4lb 3oz, Pike 29lb 8oz.
TACTICS
Find the gaps in the year-round weed beds, particularly clear areas, gravel bars and shelves.

RULES
Barbless hooks only. Angling is from dawn to dusk only. 'Bait' fishing for Pike is not allowed until 1st October, although the use of lures is permitted from 16th June. Live baits must be caught from the venue. Night fishing is not allowed and day tickets are not available for this site. Permit holders may use a maximum of three rods. N/B access around the lake can be difficult due to excess water and muddy terrain, particularly during the winter months.
