Batchworth Lake
Rickmansworth Aquadrome, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire

DESCRIPTION
This fishery has a local reputation as a big carp water, with fish over 30lb coming out. There are about 50 pegs around the lake. The most popular swims tend to be those by the island. Amongst the regulars opinions are divided over the merits of the ski boat that shares the facilities. Many believe that it keeps the water moving and the food chain suspended in the water. Although the fishery has this big Carp reputation there is also a shoal of big bream together with many large Tench. For those looking for a days fishing there are many roach, perch skimmers and small carp to keep the float dipping down.
