add or change detailsRiver Stort
From Bishops Stortford town centre to Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire.

Slow flowing canalised river with roach, rudd, chub, perch, pike, carp, bream and some tench and trout.

Roach can be caught in large numbers but not to massive sizes. Likewise with Perch. Chub - 6lb Pike - 18lb Carp - 20lb Bream - 6lb Tench - 5lb

Float fished bread punch is brilliant for roach. Small worms will catch lots of perch. Pike prefer dead sea baits. Chub will take cheese paste and breadflake when carp and bream love a rich groundbait with flavour and particles like sweetcorn, boilies and hemp - luncheon meat also works well.
