Blelham Tarn
Hawkshead and Claife, Cumbria
DESCRIPTION
Blelham is a wonderful reed-fringed tarn situated near the western shore of Windermere between Hawkshead and Ambleside. The tarn is good for Roach which grow to a good size.
FISH
Trout and Coarse. Eels (2lb), Perch (2lb), Pike (26lb), Roach (2lb)
TACTICS
Summer fishing is excellent, using maggot, castor or sweetcorn. Depth 10ft at 11 yards.
TICKETS
Day, limited to 2 per day. Tower Bank Arms hours: 8am-3pm; 5-11pm
