DESCRIPTION
Famous brown trout fly-fishing river in the Peak District associated with Izaak Walton and Charles Cotton who wrote The Compleat Angler (1653). The Club has fishing on the Derbyshire bank only for the section between the confluence with the River Manifold and Ilam Rock. Both banks upstream to the last stone wall before Milldale.
