Description
Set in the heart of Shropshire 4 miles south of Shrewsbury, Cound trout fishery was founded in 1994 to cater for the fly fisherman. This old sand and gravel pit of 26 acres is fed by an underground spring with depths of up to 65 ft. The water is crystal clear all year round and produces some tremendous fishing; there are 13 boats with another 7 to follow and a mile of bank fishing with many staging and clear banks to fish from.
