Directions - from the north, exit the A1 at Sawtry, take second exit off first roundabout, go straight over second roundabout and take first left by Wilsons and East Anglian Galvanising - From the south - exit A1 at Sawtry, take 3rd exit off roundabout, take 3rd exit off next roundabout, follow road over A1, take second exit off next roundabout, take first left by Wilsons and East Anglian Galvanising. FOR SAT NAV USE PE28 5XN - Medium sized fishing pond with a small island. The lake was originally dug out for the Blue clay. The top left of the lake is now a nature reserve and spawning area for our fish stock, so please do not fish this area. This lake has recently been taken over by new committee members who have worked over the last 2 years improving the site for Anglers and restocked with carp up to 28lb. Mirror carp 20 lbs common carp 25lbs, pike10lbs, tench 9lbs, perch 5lbs, rudd 4lbs, roach 2lbs

Float fishing using crystal floats and luncheon meat is the killer bait for tench and carp.

Barbless hooks only, no more than 2 rods, no night fishing, no heavy ground baiting (1kg per day), keep nets and landing nets must be dipped, all fish over 2lb must not be kept in nets, no live baiting.
