Neigh Bridge Lake

Neigh Bridge Country Park, part of the Cotswold Water Park, Gloucestershire

Neighbridge lake is one of the oldest of the Club's waters and has become a well established fishery holding a large head of all species. The lake, situated within a quiet Country Park, is a very pleasant place to while away a few hours of peaceful fishing, or longer, if you are after the specimen fish that inhabit the lake.

Fish Details
The lake contains a stock of common and mirror carp, which offer the carp angler some excellent sport, with a mirror of 40lb 2oz reported in May 2007. The Tench fishing can be good with fish up to 9 lbs. The lake can occasionally produce quality roach, bream and perch. There are also some rudd but they are rarely fished for. In the cooler months, Neighbridge is well worth targeting for pike, with a 20lb+ pike being a possibility.

Maggots, Corn, Bread Flake, Worm all work well.

Ashton Keynes Angling Club - Adults 2 rods £40.00, Senior Citizens £20.00, Juniors £15.00.

Secretary - Mr Antony Nash (01454) 320342

Please ensure that bivvies and equipment do not obstruct the footpaths around the lake, particularly the south and west sides (alongside the car park and the Pool Keynes road sides). This is a shared facility and the public MUST have ease of access on the footpaths, otherwise the Club is in danger of losing the water. http://www.ashtonkeynesanglingclub.info/
