Description
The coarse fishery at Blackland Lakes is comprised of two Lakes; the larger Heron Lake is approximately 1 acre with depths ranging from 4 to 12 feet. The second is Stans Lake over half an acre with depths from 4 to 9 feet. The later one was named after Stan Haines who constructed them in 1983 with his massive dragline excavator. The Chalky water has proved to be ideal for fish and they are in excellent condition.

Boilies, sweetcorn, luncheon meat, bread, worms

Tickets
See website for details. Camping rates: £6.50 per adult, £4.50 per child, 2 rods maximum each. Non-camping rates: £10.00 per adult, £8.00 per 14-18 year old, £6.00 per under 14 year old - 2 rods maximum each. Day fishing is valid from 08.00 - 20.00. Night fishing is valid from 20.00 - 08.00.
