On the edge of Layer-de-la-Haye, Colchester, Essex

Description
Layer Pit is about 14 acres, this lake holds a large number of Carp over 20lbs and many other species of fish. . Toilet facilities are in the car park (a code is needed to gain entry to both car park and toilet).

Roach 3lbs, Bream 12+, Carp 40+, Pike 25+, Eels 6+, Tench 8+, Perch 3+

Tactics
No peanuts allowed. No night fishing.

Tickets
A special membership from Colchester Angling Preservation Society is needed, only anglers with a valid Layer Pit permit are eligible to fish.
