Boreham Mill is an enchanting beat, high up the Wylye system, just outside the Wiltshire market town of Warminster.
Being close to the source and with our control of the Mill sluices, the water levels & clarity are constant throughout the season.
For fans of Olly Kite this beat is a must. He is pictured fishing here in 1960 in 'Nymph Fishing in Practice'.
This is an ideal stretch for one or two Rods, with all brown trout and a few grayling.

Enford Church - River Avon
Memories of Frank Sawyer are at every turn of the Avon as it flows across Salisbury Plain; Enford Church was, and still is, part of the extensive waters owned by the Army that Sawyer had under his care.
The Enford beat is very typical of Wiltshire’s premier river above Amesbury with its fast flow, medium depth & width, good growth of ranunculus & variety of fly hatches. The fishing flows through the water meadows that once again, are very typical of this part of the river valley. The meadow channels, despite many years of disuse, still operate in the wet winters providing a great habitat for fly life to thrive.
The beat is ideal for one or two Rods and has a large native brown trout population, supplemented by stocking & there are many grayling.
